Lack of turnout plagues underclass gymnastics 'WI A frosh-soph gymnastics team did not enter in conference competition. The main reason for the lack of team participation was the fact that the five sophomore gymnasts were able to compete on the varsity squad. Stand- out sophomores, Eric Martin and Kase Kiley, were able to place in Districts and continue on to compete in the Regional tournament. These two fine athletes show great promise for the upcoming varsity seasons. On the freshmen level, lack of turnout was the main problem. Chris Dono- van, one freshman with a little maturity, shows great potential. FAR LEFT: Sophomore Eric Martin per- formed a front sommi. LEFT: Tom Christie did a front 1- 'fi twist on the tramp.
