Our base ball team slams another winning season Certainly, our 1976 baseball team had a winning season. With many outstanding players, such as MVP pitcher Gaydon Brandt, captain Tim Snow and all conference player Dan Linden, the Hawks easily won the district, regional, and 2nd place con- ference titles. The team also finished with a record of 16-9, winning 9 of their last 10 games. Many fine junior athletes, such as Steve Malin, enabled the Hawks to become a finalist in the 1976 sectionl touma- ment. With all these talented players, Coach Verber was obviously pleased and looked forward to another winning year in 1977. BELOW: Senior Glenn Hendrie played the position of shortstop.
