F1-.Q Track team out runs opponents This year Maine South's varsity track team truly ran a successful season. Perhaps one reason for this strength was the team's overall bal- ance. South's distance runners and sprinters were among the top in the state and many placed in important individual meets. Fine performances were done by all, but some of our outstanding athletes were Tom Kroe- schell on hurdles, Chip Tosh on high jump, and Jim and Tim McNamara. Obviously, with these fine athletes, the varsity team was victorious in the very majority of their meets and did very well in the conference meet. Truly, South's varsity team proved themselves competitive. 7'll5l l H X . N X v . 7719 . X 47 ' V 5232 ,mi 5.-5 '55 E.. 33.14 I 7 N4 1.4 . 4 'a A: l
