At Homecoming, their class float took the high honors of first place. The first year was also highlighted by the class party. Many freshmen were busy participating on all of Maine South's athletic teams, as others got themselves involved in student and class councils. Through the aid of sponsors Miss Siwinski and Mr. Kratsch, the frosh class was able to successfully organize- various events for their fellow classmates.
