If All ll Ii 'IW' Faculty members encourage student participation The Maine South faculty members strived to promote student achieve- ment in every department. Between correcting papers, preparing exams, and other numerous activities, such as coaching athletic teams, spon- soring clubs, and chaperoning major events, the faculty gave their all. In addition, the faculty expressed their outstanding athletic ability in the exciting basketball game against -M-Club. Also, a golf outing was held in the spring, as well as a series of tennis matches in the fall. The year finally came to an end with a fare- well luncheon. Aside from all of the above, the teachers still boosted the education system. RIGHT: Mr. Walter F lechsig skillfully con- ducted one of his many singing groups.
