Concert Choir has much talent The Maine South Concert Choir has again been noted as one of the best high school vocal sections in the Chicago area. This highly respected group sang for both performances of the Christmas and Spring Concerts. The Choir also performed for various schools, clubs, and churches around the area. As in other years, the Con- cert Choir sang a rendition for the annual Variety Show in December. Some of the more gifted vocalists of the group were accepted into the Chamber Choir, commonly known as the Concert Choir Ensemble. This group sang at hotels, including the Palmer House, and for other organi- zations requiring musical talent. Under the direction of Mr. Bell and Mr. Flechsig, the Concert Choir and Ensemble brought Maine South the musical sounds of Christmas in De- cember and many other favorites during the year.
