Dedication Few men have given so much of themselves to M.M.A. as CDR. Brown, and few have made such a deep impression on the men they have met and taught here. As we have enjoyed his warmth and personality, we have also re- spected his teachings. As a teacher he has injected into his courses a blend of humor and personal anecdote that has sharpened our sense of reality. For those of us who have taken his courses, there are memories of a stimulating person and a great engineer. For the rest, there is the appreciation of unhesitating friend- ship.
