Y 0 X9 Q -iss: ,I 'J 2 fi N Careers emphasized in Industrial d The Industrial Education Deparment worked this year with many newly purchased supplies. Students in auto classes had the opportunity to use a new ,tire changer, brake lathe, and head light aligner. Wood and electronics equipment was also purchased. Enrollment was about the same as last year, but efforts will be made to encourage greater participation in Industrial Education activities. The department is trying to promote more career education, so each area of study carried a unit covering this. Students in auto classes went into the field and interviewed workers on their jobs. Mr. Scheldrup, department chairman, hopes that there will be much more of this in the future.
