Gail Golman Dedication, loyalty, and a willingness to sacrifice time, necessary characteristics of a yearbook staff, were ex- hibited by members of LENS 75. The staff met all six deadlines and produced, what we believe to be, an ac- curate, enjoyable, and quality book. We hope you will agree. LENS 75 could not have become a reality, however, without the help of many other people, and we would like to acknowledge them at this time. Mr. Moorhead, representative from Walsworth Publishing Co., lessened the many questions of an anxious staff through informative meetings before the first deadline. Selective pictures for the Introduction could not have been possible without the help of Mr. Pete Gregory, of United Press Inter- national. Through the reprinting of DIALOGUE, granted by Big Elk Music, LENS was able to develop its theme, We Can Make It Happen. Also instrumental in helping us carry out our theme was the Chicago En- vironmental Control Service. Additionally, with the help of Root Photographers, memories of the highlights of the 74-75 school year live on through pictures. In the school system, cooperation by administrators, club sponsors and coaches lightened our task. Senior Louis Pissios added a personal touch by sharing his poem after Mr. Small's death. Providing the backbone of the staff was adviser Ms. Golman, who faced some tense moments around deadlines. Her words of confidence, however, always strengthened our faith. Through Ms. Golman's flexible staff organization, a sense of in- dependence and pride prevailedg yet her personal contact with all members united the staff. We wish to express a very sincere and grateful thank youi' to all of these people. LENS 75 stressed the importance of involvement through a progression of pictures on the cover and a photo- essay in the Introduction. We tried to capture the marked increase in enthusiasm and participation in the 74-75 school year. Concern and involvement, however, does not stop with the closing of a book.
