I g PEP CLUB A special section at the games is reserved for pep club members and students wearing white. These sections yell their lungs out so our boys will know we're behind them. PHYSICS CLUB Along with making a homecoming float in the fall, members build projects to be displayed at the science open house. An interest in Physics along with taking the course are the only requirements for joining this club. Science films and field trips are also a part of the curriculum. Fran! RADIO CLUB A future is built for the members of the radio club as they work on the construction and operation of radios. Maine's amateur radio station pro- vides the perfect place to learn. Activities of the club stimulate interest in social prob- lems, both on and off campus. The annual Care Drive, Co-sponsorship of brotherhood week, the mock election, and the brotherhood tour are the year's principal projects. MAINE HISTORICAL SOCIETY Students of American History are eligible for membership in this club, which holds the All American History Banquet in February. At the banquet honors are bestowed on students who have done outstanding work in history. Representatives for Boys' and Girls' State are chosen from those who receive History Honors. MATH CLUB This club has been formed to stimulate interest in mathematics and also to help those students who are having trouble with their various math courses. The lettermen meet twice monthly to increase and project the spirit of sportsmanship. M Club members this year ushered at as- sembly, had a hayride, had a Variety Show Act, played in the M Club- Faculty basketball game, and sold popcorn at the basketball games. Fran! Games. movies, and conversation take up most of the time at meetings. A festive Christmas celebration and the Spring Dance are two high- lights of the year for members.
