The tasks of employing teachers and service groups, distributing 500 pieces of mail daily, supplying stu- dents with necessary classroom ma- terials, and facilitating Maine's business transactions have been al- lotted to the main office staff. In the personnel office, the re- sponsibilities of the employees have reached the unprecedented number of 3670, for these people must pro- vide each student with such me- chanical aids as a workable sched- ule, a quarterly report card, and in- formation on a variety of occupa- tions and colleges.
