up rint ndents Mr. Anderson faces daily many prob- lems which have no counterpart in the an- nals of secondary education. Because of his facility and integrity our community enjoys maximum high school opportu- nities. As assistant superintendent, Dr. Stolte must coordinate policy and practice. No one is more familiar with faculty and stu- dent problems. Dr. Stolte concerns him- self with details without losing sight of the life goals of education. Qfdvfxez

Johnston Miss Lulu Mae lohnston Dean ofjunior-Senior Boys Somewhere between the fresh- man's first amazed glimpse of a locker-plated corridor and his last wistful glimpse of the campus as the impatient automobiles rush away from the graduation ceremony, every student, at least once, finds himself seated before the impressive ma- hogany desk of his dean. He may ask, Why must I go to school? How can a transfer student like me make friends? or What's my class rating? Multiply the answers plus a dozen more by 3700 and add general super- vision of the student body. The total gives a somewhat accurate indication of the understanding and help ren- dered by our deans. For the services which are their routine and our in- dispensable advantage we give our thanks. qu A c, ssss, if M552 at Quai?
