MATHEMATICS The mathematics program is divided into two basic areas: college preparatory and technical. Every student must take at least one math course to fulfill his graduation requirement. A course on earth science was introduced and 200 freshmen were allowed to' take biology, heretofore a sophomore subject. After tedious hours spent on projects for the annual district science fair, the deserving few are rewarded with honors and a trip to the state contest.
