THE NURSE'S OFFICE The nurse's office is a reqular merry-qo-round here at Maine. Mrs. Valta McGrath, school nurse, and Barbara Nowak, her assistant can always be counted upon in cases of emergency. Students come to her office for everythinq from first aid treatments to cough drops. Included in the general health program this year are freshman eye tests, tuberculin tests, and the dental survey. Lunch period is the favorite pr-riod of the day and the workers who make it so enjoyable are pictured below in the right hand corner. ln the back row are Mrs, Leisering, Mrs. John, Mrs, Zimmerman, Mrs. Hueqe. We can all thank Mrs, Clouqh, head librarian, and Miss FLORENCE KUHN JANET CLOUGH Kuhn, assistant librariOf1, for makinq our library one ot the tinest, Besides checking out books tor us, they are always willinq to help us locate reler- ence materials. They also have a biq job in keeping us supplied with the newest books. Workinq with the librarians is a statt of helpers who have tormed a library club of their own.
