They tied with La Grange and Hinsdale for the conference championship and had a record of seven wins against two defeats. Under the direction of Herman Rider and Robert Wells the freshman team also captured conference honors, going undefeated in all of its six games. Taking all into consideration, we definitely owe loud cheers to all six of our competent coaches and a nod of appreciation to the boys who made us so proud of our football teams. The scores of the varsity games are as follows: Maine heat Thornton Fractional 20 to 12, Glenbard 20 to 13, Hinsdale 19 to 2, and York 40 to 24, and lost to Elgin T to 20, East Aurora 13 to 18, Downers Grove 6 to 7, La Grange 7 to 13. and Riverside 21 to 23. 3-X 5 o'5.'?!vr,.
