We have come to know this annual publication by the term Year Book . The name achieves significance only because of our familiarity with the contents of past issues. Were we to rename this book with a title that might reveal something of its fibre we would call it Our Diary . Actually it is a report on the highlights of your life at Maine. It is a record of the outstanding activi- ties of the 1900 people who are mentioned within its covers. As you read these pages and relive the past year, we hope your enjoyment of the story will be great- er because of the part written in by you.
