Tradition has made superior yearbooks a requirement, and, somehow, each staff manages to perpetuate this tradition. Securing some six hundred pictures showing more than seventeen hundred students requires the utmost in diplomacy and cooperation, and it is the proudest hour of every staff men- ii Lens Staff: Don Tollefson, Laverne Flentie, Jean Miller, Jeanne Pagiiueeo, Gerry Schmidt. la-ns Assistants: Barbara Kiefer, Sue Schulze, Ruth St'lll1llfUlSlii. This year's Pioneer Staff, under the editorship of Charles Hayes, has lween increasingly active. Besides preparing the regular sixteen issues, the staff has undertaken, as a special project, the publishing of a lllue and White literary supplement, which has appeared periodically throughout the year, as a feature section of the paper. The Pioneer also sponsored a special Keen Teen Assembly at which Andy Russell was the featured guest. lfditor, janet Tavernery Business Man- ager, Geraldine Schmidtg Senior iflass l-fditor, l.aveme lilentieg lfnderclass liditor, -leanne Pagnuceog .Nrlministration lfditor, jean Xlillerg Art liditor, Don Tollefsong Assistants, llarlwara Kie- fer, Sue Schulze, Ruth Scliapanslci, lim Uuncan, llede Stiefenhoefer, Sally Ilood, and Thelma Armstrongg uldyiser, Xlr.
