Pep Club Yea-a-Maine! Sound familiar? That's just the Pep Club up to its usual tricks. What tricks? Why, those that call out the good old-fashioned school spirit. Under the energetic leadership of Bob Torset, presidentp Buzz Hopf, vice-president: and Margie lohn, secretaryg and last but far from least Mr. lrving, the faculty sponsorg the Pep Club not only leads cheers but also undertakes other activities connected with the rousing of Maine pep. New innovations sponsored by this year's Pep Club included such items as blue and white sweaters for all members, the selling of the first school stickers to be seen at Maine in a long time, the distributing of programs, the sponsoring of those riotous assemblies every Mainite looked forward to, and no exception to their usual procedure the producing this year of the Pepper Hop , the chosen name of their annual jitney. So every time you see a tumbling, blue-and-whitefclad, vitarnized personality, don't duck! that's just a member of the Pep Club doing his best for a lasting school spirit. Are you with them?? Why, of course!
