And as we seniors survey fhe adulf world wifh fhe awe once reserved for upper-classmen, we find fhaf we musf also be graduafed fo fhis school of life, a school filled wifh hard lcnoclcs. As we roll up our proverbial sleeves and prepare fo faclcle fhis new iob wifh characfer- isfic vigor, we cannof help wondering whefher or nof we really are prepared. TN 4 Buf, yes, we are prepared: MAINE has prepared us. Here we learned self-confrol, cooperafion, give-and-fake We were shown fhaf on fhe gianf checlsereboard of life we cannof all be kings. Through our feams and our clubs we learned loyalfy. Our honoraries provided fhe necessary incenfive for hard work. Social acfivifies gave us poise and manners. Courfesy was acquired from fhe necessify of close associafion wifh fellow sfudenfs and faculfy. We do nof doubf fhaf we are well-prepared, for MAINE has shaped and molded us in fhe besf of pafferns, and we are grafeful. Bur she has been more fo us fhan a feacher and a sculpforg she has been, besf of all, our friend. SENIOR SPONSORS Miss Jane Chapeclc Mr. G. S.
