C. I. 3 sv' K e 5 ' u .wiki ,gh .wwf Today's world breeds -uncertainty and insecurity for all of us. Yet there never was a time, it seems to me, when goals to work for were more important. One of these goals you seniors have reached and you are 'to be congratulated -- graduation from high school. But if you have nogoals beyond high school, your life will have little purpose. A ship without a rudder never was worth much. Goals are pretty important to all althletic con- tests -- why not life? A good iob, a good family, agood education -- all are worthy goals, but they require de- votion and a lot of hard work. Set for yourself worthy and reasonable goals and your daily tasks will add up to something. You'll do them willingly because you have purpose and direction. This one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind . . . I press toward the mark . . . Philippians 3:13, l4 W. Howard Niblock Principal 4 1 L .1 .,. . Bowdoin College Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences Harvard Graduate School of Education 5 IN MEMQ-RIAM Glennis Hunter Willey June 20, 1907 - March 18, 1954 It is with profound regret that the Class of 1955 records the passing of a loyal alumna and devoted servant of the School whose thirty years of service to MCI as secretary to the principal and registrar form an enduring memorial to a fine woman. Conscientious, faithful, always loyal to the bestinterests of M.C.l., Glennis Hunter Willey richly merited the esteemin which she was held by students and faculty alike. U X vm m EDWARD R.
