FOREWORD Our trip seems as if it has only begun, but alas, we have finished twelve years of our never ending journey. The journey to the future—the future which will become the present—the present which will become the past—the past which will become only memories. Our goal is symbolic of the stars, the highest of God's creation, the most beautiful and mysterious. The stars are the unknown, and the unknown is our future. High School represents four important years of our journey—the years in which we will mature the most and accept many responsibilities—the years in which we must decide upon one career. This career will be the brightest star; the star that we must follow in the future. As Seniors, we feel proud to have reached this high point in our search for maturity, but there is also a feeling of meekness as we view the vast universe we have yet to explore. Our last year with the friends who have traveled with us thus far has come and is quickly slipping from our grasp as sand slips through an hour glass; however, the pride we have in the class we represent outshines all doubts and shadows. We say with great pride and honor, Maiden High School was ours in 1967 . The Juniors, as well as we, see the time passing so quickly, and next year is their year . To them, we leave a position which they must fill and fill well, because their future will soon be theirs to decide. The Sophomores are well on their way on this four year leg of the journey , which we as Seniors are finishing. To them, we leave two years which they are to enjoy and cherish for they pass all too quickly. To the Freshmen, we leave the wonderful and unforgettable experiences at M.H.S., which for them, are yet to come. May the next three years bring to them the knowledge, not only found in books, which we Seniors feel we now have and are capable of using. This edition of the Maidonian is a looking glass in which you may see Maiden High School in 1967. Come with us as we enter the looking glass and relive the year, 1967, when Maiden High School was OUR SCHOOL .
