IS YOUR LIFE PUBLISHED BY TH E STUDENTS OF MAIDEN HIGH SCHOOL Maiden, North Carolina Editor Assistant Editor . Business Manager .Mary Katherine Witherspoon NINETEEN HUNDRED FIFTY-EIGHT VOLUME XII As we, the Seniors, think back through the years, we realize the significant part the church, the home, and the school have played in molding our lives. The guiding hand of our parents at home, the spiritual strength of the church, and the search for knowledge at school, have helped make us ready for the future years. Although we have sometimes stumbled, we shall face the future with expectation. 3 OREWORD The purpose of our high school career has been to train for the future. Each year we found ourselves growing closer to a knowledge of what we wanted to do with our lives. We began taking the subjects that would help us most in our prospective careers. Now, as we are ready to go our separate ways, we shall never forget the guidance, training, and friendships we have had in all our classes. Everything we did centered around Maiden High School, so it will always be one of the outstanding parts of our lives. Problem solving in mathematics Sewing serving as an asset 4 Learning to survey land Typing aids in all subjects 5 We Dedicate. We dedicate this, the 1958 Maidonian, to you, a gentleman, a friend, a vital part of Maiden High School. For your under- standing and co-operative nature tempered with kindness and courteousness, we respect you. For your interest and faith- ful service in our school life, we thank you. It is with pleasure that we, the Senior Class, dedicate the Maidonian to you, Mr. Grier Piercy. 6 SCHOOL BOARD Mr. William Herter Dr. C. P.
