Class Hlstory From k1ndergarten rug t1me to semor b1g wheels' 13 of us stuck to gether through th1ck and th1n we went 1nto the lower grades began p1ck1ng up more h1tch h1kers' on the road to knowledge In second grade we found that do1ng 15 learnmg when we ran our l1ttle grocery store and post off1ce under the d1rect1on of MISS Slmmons The next couple of years we began to realxze the thr1ll of watchmg a wrnnlng football team when Soma Reed s b1g brother and h1s team mates had an undefeated season Llttle d1d we know that lt wouldn't happen aga1n unt1l we were Sen1ors Though we were all enthuslastlc about mak1ngpap1er mache puppets 1n the 7th grade Jack Spaldmg was the experrenced member of the group He and h1s mother had been makmg them for some t1me And then came t1me for us all to show off our dramat1c ab1l1ty We pre sented the great CPIC COWBOY'S CHRISTMAS which was enjoyed by us as well as the audlence It was about th1S t1me that Mr Frankel led us 1n a sur vey and d1scuss1on of com1c books The research was most enjoyable Then came the day we entered h1gh school, only to f1nd that we were once agaln on the lowest rung of the ladder FRESHMAN The most rmportant project of th1s year was the vocatronal study 1n Mr Bo1stad's class A group of educatlonal orphans from Centerv1lle Jomed us 1n our Sopho more year and the1r talents added to the success of the Sad1e Hawk1ns Dance One of our new p1'1V11CgCS was namxng ahomecommg queen attendant and our chorce was Maureen McDerma1d As Jumors the most 1mportant funct1on was of course the .Tumor Semor Prom We rev1ved the 1dea of holdxng lt 1n the school and 1n the beaut1fully decorated W1ldwood gym we all enjoyed an even1ng 1n the South PaC1f1C Our class play was qulte successful th1s year and we chose Lorrayne Stelhng as our homecom1ng attendant The long awalted SENIOR year has been asw1ft mov1ng ser1es of act1v1t1es w1th al1ttle work thrown rn Homecornmg fmrst w1th queen, Charlotte VanEaton rulmg over the fest1v1t1es arded by the semor attendants .Toan Burque and Bev Rehbe1ne Barb Lundstrom and Butch Noel ran aboardmg house full of odd characters ln our class play Chrcken Every Sunday For awh1le we all thought that It would be a 47 way txe for top honors of the class but Erleen Casserly and Judy Ehlenz fmally came out the vmctors Then came the day we'd been wa1t1ng for GRADUATION And as we re cexved our drplomas we reahzed how grateful we were to all our parents teachers students and all the rest who made th1s day poss1ble page eleven O ' ll ' ' ' I , - As , we - ' . ! . , . . . . , . . . . - ' ll ' ' 3 i n I ' -- . . . , .
