i- ,-4 CLASS HISTORY The class of 49 is the first class ln M H S to go through the new school from the first grade to graduation Many memories are imbedded our minds of these past four years, memor1es we are sure will not be forgotten Our freshman year saw us en tering the big world of high school, adults at last' C o we thought D We finally were able to participate 1H all the real h1gh school act1vities Sophomore year saw our fel lows on the sports parade and our Jay Vee cheerleaders really golng to town Some of the fellows had cars of their own, and that really was an event The JUHIOP year saw us through one of the proudest years of any class We di rected and produced our own Junior play which was an enormous success Our Junior prom was an equal success and our salesmanship was super loney rolled in and we began thinking of Washington Going Steady became familiar words At last we reached the esteemed title of Seniors Then came our Senior play and our Senior prom, our selling of refreshments at games, the cheering for our boys to vic tory, the work on our year book, and at last, our goal, graduation We look back upon these years with fond memories and hopes that the fun and en joyment, good will and sports manship we had then will prevail throughout all our lives Through the constant help the future will never hold any obstacle too great for the Senlors of '49 to conquer Ke' sa.
