e Sonar Technician (ST) Torpedoman ' s Mate (TM) CS-2 Division The mission of CS-2 Division is to detect, clas- sify, and attack subsurface contacts. In order to perform tfiis mission, personnel witfiin tfie division use sophisticated electronic equipment which pro- vide aural and visual clues used in identification. If proper classification deems weapon release neces- sary, there are ship launched torpedoes available for use.
