The modern cry, I.et's get hack to the three R's, prompted the Maroon and Black staff to evalu- ate our aims. Are there too many frills in education? Should we, indeed, get back to the basic courses of former years and exclude many activities? These questions challenged us. That the world has changed is indisputalile. The cracker barrel and horse and buggy era made life simple in relationships. jets today draxv closer the world population. A new con- cept in human relationships is necessary and we feel that our school has met the need for broader courses of study to tit each graduate into the pat- tern of modern living.
