Standing - Mr. Fchtenkamp, Joan Lamb- erson, Cathryn Reardon, Genelle Menching, Orma Herman, Lorita Mether, Linda Peterson, Marilyn Benson, Student Manager. Under the excellent guidance and coaching of Mr. Echtenkamp, the Magnolia Lassies established a fine record of 18 wins and A losses in spite of the fact that only 7 of repeating. with united point average, average. This Soldier Valley last year's squad returned, Sondra being the only regular starter effort and determination, the forwards scored 1211 points, a S5 while the guards limited the opponents to 797 points, a 36 point excellent playing record, both offensive and defensive, won the Conference title, third place in the Harrison County Tournament, and runner-up in the Sectional Tournament. Jackie was Sectional free-throw champion which gave her the right to compete in district competition. Boys' Basketball Kneeling - Roy Cooper, Lyle Rhoten, Robert Forde, Bill Freymuller, Walter Gochenour, Bill Herman, Jack Lewis. Standing - Mr. Rembold, Wallis Gochenour, Raymond Mother, Bob Heady, Floyd Bedsaul, Norbert Pauley, Jim Herman, Jack Straight, Warren Michael, Buddy Alexander, Student Manager. Under the outstanding coaching of Mr. Rembold, the Magnolia Wildcats, with only two regulars returning from last year's squad, racked up a fine record of 15 wins to S losses in regular season play and the County Tournament. With the hard work of the first five -and the backing of the 'subs', they scored lO77 points against their opponents' BSS. This excellent record includes winning the Soldier Valley Conference title and fourth place in the Harrison County Tournament.
