Our ,gieperinfencfenlf SUPERINTENDENT R H COLE When we the sen1ors of 1954 were 1n the second grade Mr R H Cole became supermtendent of the Magnolra school drstrxct At that tlme we were not aware there was such a thlng as a supermtendent We only knew that we had a teacher that enforced certarn rules We thought she was the boss Then at the promonon day exercxses rn the slxth grade we were told a very 1mportant person was goxng to talk to us to welcome us to the hrgh school Mr Cole was then formally 1ntroduced to us S1nce then he has become more fGH'1ll1GI' to us H1s talks 1n assembly h1s fnendly greetrngs and the talks rn h1s offlce all have helped us become more fam1l1ar wxth hxm As we leave Magnolra Hlgh School thls year we know we have a fr1end m Mr Cole We know that any t1me we return we have a speclal 1nv1tat1on to drop 1n h1s off1ce and say hello Page 6 1 1 - 1 1 1 . . ,
