THE MUSICAL ABILITY OF THE GROUP WAS THE HIGHEST QUALITY FOR SEVERAL YEARS. THE SADNESS STEMMED FROM THE FACT THAT FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 1969 THERE WAS NO HOLIDAY IN MUSIC . ITS PLACE WAS TAKEN BY OTHER CHRISTMAS CONCERTS, BUT NOTHING CAN TAKE THE PLACE OF THE THRILL OF PERFORMING IN THE CONVENTION CEN- TER.
