A55T. PRINCIPALS Afrcr havin g taught at Loam High School for 12 years, it was a welcome change to come to Magnolia High School as an Assistant Principal. My job description makes me responsible for discipline, attendance and activities. I have found this job to be a pleasant experience. The Magnolia students I have met have made my new exper- ience rewarding. They have been extremely warm, friendly and cooperative. . . I hope that this relationship will be a lasting one. John S. Douglas Assistant Principal What Til always remember about the Class of 1979-80. . . Memories. . . Surfing and skateboards gave way to Mopeds and cruiser hikes. . . KMHS blasted sounds by Led Zepplin. Village People. Kiss. Styx. Queen, and The Cars... Mixed feelings amongst Rock, Hard Rock, Disco, and Punk Rock listeners. . . Washed out Levis and T-shirts gave way to beautiful straight skirts with a long slit on one side for the girls, and the boys. . . Well, what can I say . . . Oh, their hair was cut shoulder length - . . . Naturals and Perms didn ' t quite make it big. . . Fa- vorite sayings by students in my office for referrals were ' m sure. Whatever , Shine it , and Forget it . . . Students left campus for alot of reasons but for gas- ? . . . Lots ol excitement in Anaheim as Angels won their first American League Pennant. . . Fll always remem - her this class when I hear one of my favorite songs Just The Way You Are and I hope someday we can again be Reunited . With Love and Concern Always, B. M.
