University of Minnesota Program Service Presents; Lyceum Childrens Theatre Scenes from and Stories by Hans Christian Andersen. Selected from... The Princess and the Pea, The Snow Queen, The Steadfast Tin Soldier, Thumbelina, The Ugly Duckling, and The Red Shoes. On January 19, we were again blessed with report cards for another nine week period. They were an improvement over the first nine weeks but they were still not up to the usual good stand- ards that students of Magnolia High School usually possess. On- ward to the Third Quarter!

On December 21, we had our annual Christmas program. The Christmas spirit was shared by both the grade school and high school. The grade school presented a small program entitled THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS. The high school band and chorus played and sang a few selections, The program was organized by Mr. Barnett and Miss Urch. The students were accompanied by Diane Rust. 10

This Assembly Had Its Ups and Downs With a Trampolinist and His Wife. On March 12, we had our sec- ond assembly in which we were entertained by a trampolinist and his wife, Ursala, who was from Sweden. Six of the junior and sen- ior boys were also included in this program and did quite well in com - peting with the two gymnasts. The program had its ups and downs but it was enjoyed by most of the stu- dents. 12
