IN MEMORIAM Mr. Oscar Marking, teacher of social studies and mathematics, passed away suddenly on May 31, 1969. Mr. Marking, who taught twelve years at Magnolia, was outstanding in his services to the school. We deeply grieve his passing and dedicate this page to his honor. The Class of 1969 THE BULLDOG MAGNOLIA HIGH SCHOOL MAGNOLIA, MINNESOTA 1969 This year we have dedicated our school yearbook--The Bulldog-- to Mr. Barnett because of his fine services to the school and students. Mr. Barnett, who resides in Sioux Falls, began his Magnolia teach- ing career five years ago in 1964. He attended the South Dakota School of Mines in Rapid City, South Dakota, and the University of South Dakota in Vermillion where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree. Music, band, chemistry, and physics are the subjects Mr. Barnett has taught in Magnolia. He is in charge of all music and band groups for contests and concerts. The students of Magnolia deeply appreciate Mr. Barnett's work in the school. He has done a very good job in the past and we're sure his future will see more of the same. 5 TABLE OF CONTENTS Administration ........................................ 7 Faculty .............................................. 9 Seniors............................................... 13 Classes................................................21 Grades ................................................27 Activities ........................................... 35 Athletics .............................................47 Organizations......................................... 55 Ads ...................................................63 Human history becomes more and more a race between education and catastrophe.
