The aim and purpose of the FFA is to develop and promote boys in farming and agricul- ture improvements, leadership, character, sportsmanship, co-operation, citizenship, and patriotism. Under the leadership and judgement of W, A, Haines the FFA has taken part in many local, county, and state activities in the recent year. There have been five state farmers from the chapter. This year there were twenty-six members enrolled in the FFA. The officers are: Don Ballard, President, Bill Parrott, Vice Presi- dent, Jerry McLaughlin, Secretary, Don Gray, Treasurer, Dale Hall, Reporter, Jesse Conrad, Student Advisor, Duane Stinementz, Sentinel. Leaming to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve is the motto of the FFA. We feel sure that the Magnetic Springs FFA will strive to maintain the present status of their chapter, and uphold the National FFA organization.
