KATHRYN COOK KateL ' as we like to call her, was always on hand at school activities, She was our best source of in- formation for the gossip columns, EUGENE GODDARD Bones, our stock car driver, was always busy working on his cars. He played baseball, and was on Pete's Collegians basketball team, GARY HERD Gary, our skyscraper f6'5 y was well liked by everyone for his slow, easy manner. He was manager of the basketball team until the middle of his junior year when he started playing basket- ball, CAROLA KEEVER Carola, who was treasurer of the class, came to Magnetic in her junior year after spending two years in Manchester, Georgia. She was generally quiet and studious and well- liked by everyone.

DON BALLARD Don, our class president, was an active leader in school. His sharp sense of humor made him well liked by everyone. He liked basketball and was always active in agriculture. ' RUTH CARPENTER Ruth, the class's only redhead, liked all sports, her favorite class being Physical Education. Al- though generally appearing quiet and studious, she truly enjoys life, REX CLEVENGER Although holding down a full-time job, Rex, who is often called 'Ped' finds time to take part in school activities. One of his distinguishing marks is his red Oldsmobile which is usually on the road. JESSE CONRAD Jessellilnardent lover of baseball, and active throughout high school in F, F, A, , was President of the County Junior Production Credit Association in his senior year. His one ambition is to be a certified public accountant,

ROBERT KIRKPATRICK LARRY LEEPER his willingness to cooperate GENE MANVILLE Gene, the boy with a ready smile, has a great love for saddle horses. Gene played on the basketball squad for three years and was an active member in F.F,A, all four years of high school. CAROLYN MCLAUGHLIN Carolyn, who is affectionately called Mick, hopes to land a job after school as a private secretary, Throughout her entire high school career she has been well-known for her backing of the basketball team, Bob, our farm boy is interested in a simple life He was well cast in the role of Pa Belsnickle in our Junior Play, 'Hillbilly Weddin Bob's motto is 'Early to bed and early to rise Pete, lover of baseball, was well liked by students and teachers alike for his good sense of humor and
