Class Officers: Don Ballard, Presidentg Carola Keever, Treasurer, Mary Gay Schambs, Secretaryg Marvin Williams, Vice President, mice 5444 CLASS MOTTO 'Climb Though the Rocks be Rugged' Om 75093 44' We --to graduate, to enter into the busy world, and to utilize our school knowledge, First, may we summarize our high school activities and experiences into a lasting record, Our freshman year proved to be very interesting as every day was full of new experiences, We were the first freshman class to sponsor a dance and proved our capability by having it well planned. The sophomore year rconsisted mostly of accustoming ourselves to the many high school activities and to the entirely new administration, At last our junior year. Time to order class rings and to plan for the Jr,-Sr, Banquet, The banquet was served in the school auditorium, portraying a starlight theme. A breakfast was served at Holiday Hill, Sunday morning, following the banquet, Also, adding to the excitement of the year was the presenting of Hillbilly Weddin', The coming of our senior year brought many new experiences, We had our pictures taken, planned for graduation exercises, and of course the Senior trip, Many were confronted with the problem of deciding whether to go to college or not, and in choosing a preference. As we climax our school life, we are well aware of our obligations and responsibilities to civilization, Likewise, we realize that we must ever climb, though the rocks be rugged,

DON BALLARD Don, our class president, was an active leader in school. His sharp sense of humor made him well liked by everyone. He liked basketball and was always active in agriculture. ' RUTH CARPENTER Ruth, the class's only redhead, liked all sports, her favorite class being Physical Education. Al- though generally appearing quiet and studious, she truly enjoys life, REX CLEVENGER Although holding down a full-time job, Rex, who is often called 'Ped' finds time to take part in school activities. One of his distinguishing marks is his red Oldsmobile which is usually on the road. JESSE CONRAD Jessellilnardent lover of baseball, and active throughout high school in F, F, A, , was President of the County Junior Production Credit Association in his senior year. His one ambition is to be a certified public accountant,
