PEOPLE LIKE RECOGNITION Pemberton received first place honors for his Chemistry B Project, Mr. Barham presents 2nd place award to Joyce Wall for her project Sarah Lacy whose Bio-Chemistry project won first place and in the Biology B Division during the annual Math-Science Dorothy Winston, honorable mention in the quiz division. SCULPTURE ATTRACTS ATTENTION. This display was one of the most popular in the show. The show was viewed by students, teachers, parents, and art interested persons in the community. Each year the Art department and the Industrial Education and Practical Arts department jointly sponsor a show when the projects of students are put on display. PARENTS VIEW ART EXHIBITS. Parents, in large numbers turned out to view the art displays. Many parents came because of their interest in their child’s work of arts. Others were just art lovers.
