Understandings WEST SIDE STORY ACTION This is a fight between the Puerto Rican Boys and the American Boys. School Observes Veterans Day We believe that the school should seek to foster those activities that tend to upgrade moral and spiritual appreciations. Our Veterans Day observance, this year took on a new meaning. Cadets, Staff Sgt. Karl A. Goodall, and Pfc. Kenneth W. Hewitt stand guard at a display as a part of Veterans Day observance. We are grateful for a ‘‘Land of the free and home of the brave.”’ FUTURE DRAGONS: Junior high school students who will be attending Maggie Walker High School the next school term spent a day at Walker recently in a new program geared to make the transition smoother. Among the participants in the program conceived by Principal Sidney S.
