Some of | McQueen, Mrs. Black, Sponsor, Sarah Lacy, Carolyn Davenport, these students will engage in national competitive contests. Those Craig Mills, and Michael Taylor. AIDES ASSIST LIBRARIANS. The Library Aides make up an organization of students that are chiefly interested in library science. They assist the librarians in many ways in making the library more effective in our school and community life. They learn library procedures and how to implement the objectives of the library. The Aides and their sponsors as shown are: Mrs. Samuels, Dianne Jones, Mrs. Boyd, Sally Murphy, David Wright, Shirley Ellis, Gwendolyn Thompson, and Larry Bland. VICA CLUB HOLDS MEETING. The Walker VICA meets four times each month. The Club is composed of all ICT students. They learn parliamentary procedures, engage in contests, and attend VICA conventions. Mr. Hill, ICT Coordinator, sponsors this club. Present at this meeting were: Jack Brown, Shirley Fogg, Veronica Anderson, Vernon Smith, William Speight, Ralph Stafford, James Bailey, Welford Warren, Cornell Miller, and Clayton Gregory.

GIRLS LEARN TO DRESS. The Charm and Culture Club is an organization for girls ONLY. It is for those girls who are interested in improving those qualities that make for dignified ladies. They learn, among many other things, how to dress for the occasion. Personality development is also emphasized. The members here are: Patricia Wilson, Joyce Mann, Crystal Bey, Jacqueline Wingfield, Barbara Farmer, and Valerie. Also, seated, are Linda Alston, Brenda Smith, and Paula Battle. Marjorie Rivers is standing at the top. AIDES ASSIST SECRETARIES. These students are a section of a group who render service to our school and give a tremendous amount of assistance to the office workers. We salute these Aides for their hard work in assisting with the attendance records, and at the same time learning other office procedures. Pictured here are: Julia Tyler, Belinda Hymes, Adrian Levi, Valerie Branch, and Sharon Barksdale. SINGERS DO THEIR NUMBER. The Madrigal Singers Harvey Williams, Cornell Jones, Calcine Harris, Carol are selected students with voice talent. These singers Coles, McKinley Moss, Linward Loving, and Marsha also are members of the Walker choir. They are Taylor. The Literary Club provides a Secretary; Pamela Moye, Charles Fowler, Mary Goodall, Harry channel for self expression and an opportunity for intensified Bryce, Treasurer; Nathan Harris, Chaplain; Gladiola Harris, Shelia study of literary forms.
