People seek skills we: “Oe Harvey Key works skillfully and with a great deal of concentration as he shapes a wall rack, in the Industrial Arts shop. WHAT'S WRONG? There is a correct and wrong way of doing most everything. Observe the photo and allow yourself one point for each correct and each wrong situation that you find. Ernest Walker learns to use the hand saw and Kenneth Miller learns to use the saw machine, in the Industrial Arts shop. COSMETOLOGY STUDENTS PREPARE FOR STATE BOARD EXAM. These students are refreshing skills that are so important when they apply for the State Board examinations. They are: Rosa Neblett, Cheryl Giles, Peggy Mason, Inola Frye, Fannie Carter, Elizabeth Williams, Marcia Dickerson, Vivian Smith, Denneise Nero, Ehtel Hedgepeth, Caroline Curry, and Edna Parker.

Some people can sew NEEDLE TRADES II Young men are learning how to place nip-lite conso hooks on draperies. They are: Lawrence Watts and Robert Smith. NEEDLE TRADES II Some girls are placing patterns on material for individual projects, while others are tailor tacking and tracing patterns which have been cut out. The young men are learning how to operate the machine. The students are: Loretta Taylor, Valerie White, Juanita Jackson, Linda Harris, Maurice Smithers, Alonzo Hunter, Clara Jones, Linda Huff, and Cyntheia Branch. NEEDLE TRADES — DEMONSTRATION OF SKILL The students are: Alonza Hunter, Russell Morton, Mrs. A. B. Segear, and Samuel Brown

CLERK-TYPIST CLASSES FOLLOW EXAMPLE OF THE EXPERTS. The new curriculum patterns classes enjoyed demonstrations by experts in the field of business. Miss Sandy Uhrig, a representative of IBM explains some of the techniques of electric typewriting. Senior girls participating in the demonstration are: Deborah Winston, Gale Woods, and Rosa Miles. BUSINESS LAW CLASS. The students in this class learn basic law terms, visit court sessions, discuss sample case problems and carry out law skits and invite speakers. They are: Miss Mattie Bartee, James Fenner, Luevater Mosley, Linda Hunter, Susan Jordan, Constance James, Cyntheia Carter, and Carol Suggs. auch THE EPITOME OF MIND EXPANSION. Mrs. Diamond loosens the straight lace of Calculus as she explains the proof of a theorem. The students are William Johnson, Laura Richardson, Linda Keys, Beverly Brown, and Cheryl McQueen.
