CLASS SONG THE REAPER (In the tune of ''Tonight ’) lL. 7a. Dear Walker High, In fields of knowledge we've We now must say good-bye; been sowing; These years, forever near we shall keep. In wisdom we've been growing Through faith and fears Through these great years gone Of these our cherished years, by. We have sowed; now we go; we must reap! We'll walk through broader fields of learning Our hearts forever yearning To keep thy honor high! OF We'll reach great heights Through weary toil and strife. As we live, we will give, time will tell! With hearts so true; With joy e'er shinning through, We now say, ‘Happy Days, Fare thee well! CLASS POEM Longevity For three long years we've labored here, But was it all in vain? Had we the chance to do it o'er, Would we do it again? The teachers are the best there are, The classrooms are divine. And when we leave these blessed walls, We'll make our knowledge shine. We'll make our knowledge shine.for days, And years, on land and on the seas. Then parents and teachers will be proud, Yes, proud of you and me. So as we leave these blessed walls Of Maggie Walker High. We'll take our tears, and leave our fears And bid you all Good-bye. 83
