Harry Cool,' VVilliams' Green Dragon courtmen squeezed through by a narrow 35-33 score to edge a fighting Armstrong High School team and cop the Central District cage crown in the finals of the tournament here Saturday in the Maggie L. WVa1k- er High School gymnasium before approximately 1000 fans. Armstrong advanced to the finals by drubbing D. Webster Davis, 40-14 and trouncing Parker Gray. 44-30. Walker out-classed St. Emma, 49-13 and shellacked Peabody, 72-26 to reach the finals. Walker jumped to a 12-6 lead at the end of the first quarter and held a 21-17 advantage at half- time. After the intermission Armstrong rallied strong- ly and forged to a 26-24 scoreg but Walker's spirited counter drive in the final stanza pushed the Dragons to a five point lead which the Wild Cats failed to overcome. Furney Green, Walker forward, with 13 points, was high scorer. Andrew Brooks, Armstrong center, led the losers with 12. The Summary MAGGIE L.
