In Memory Johnny Lotoso A friend of mine just passed away. It is a sad and lonely day. And yet I should not feel so bad. His life was good. It was not bad. He lived the way he knew he should. The path he chose was good. He might not have been very old. He lived just nineteen years. But he knew what life was all about. It was sweat, blood and tears. He knewa lot about the world, though he was just a boy. He knew sometimes it was filled with grief, and sometimes filled with joy. He always had nice things to say. He always was so gay. He knew the way that he should be. I know someway, somehow ------- that he is happy now and will be eternally. He made mistakes like all of us. Yes, he was human too. But his mistakes were little ones. To God he was true. Yes, I will pray for Johnny now, But I'm not going to cry. I only hope someday we'll meet, in the great by and by. They say God knows 'what he has done. They say he's just and wise. Well, when I'm lonesome for my friend, I'll look up to the skiesg 'Cause Johnny is up there with God. I know it must be true. Johnny if you'll pray for me Someday I might join you.
