“, .,, PEP CLUB The Pep Club had Z3 members for 1947. These members were: Wilma Mickels, Jeanne Hoover, Ardis Carothers, Donna Shirley, Betty Bullock, Beverly McCormick, Arlyce Penner, I..aVernae Janzen, Barbara Allen, Audrey Lovenburg, Lynelle Adams, Jean Houtz, Mary Jean Bullock, Myrtle Stubblefield, Erma Seiler, Glenda Colson, Janice Janzen, Patty Carothers, Mary Lou Spelts, Thelma Erlewine, Delores Wiebe, Beverly Stransky, and Jackie Wiebe. Officers of the Pep Club were: President-Thelma Erl- wine, Vice-President-Myrtle Stubblefield, Secretary-Barbara Allen, Treasurer-Mary Jean Bullock. Uniforms for the season were black slacks, black jackets orange blouses and orange and black beanies. All the games were attended by the Pep Club. Two drills were given for football and two floor drills for basketball. The cheer leaders were Donna Shirley and Mary Lou Spelts. Assistant leader was Beverly McCormick. Miss Taylor and Mrs. Tjaden sponsored the Pep Club for this year.
