Dedication Dedicated to Sylvia Breshears Sylvia spent six and one half years at Madras Union High School. She grew with the system and became an efficient and valuable employee as District Clerk. Unofficially she fulfilled the needs of the girls of the school for guidance. Her interest in the teen-agers as well as efficiency at work were among the qualities for which she became so valuable and loved. Besides fulfilling her role as wife, mother, and District Clerk, Sylvia and her husband, Everett, took the time and effort to sponsor teen-age dances and act as advisers to the teen-age dance council. With regret the administration accepted Sylvia's resignation this year due to her plans to move to Washington with her family. It is hoped that Sylvia will recall pleasant memories of her years at Madras High School. We also hope that the feeling developed toward her by the faculty, the students, the school board, and the community ere mutual. It is with the best wishes of all that this dedication is made and may she find a full and satisfying life in her new location. Registration day, August 30, found students packed into the office to begin a new school year. Warm Springs, Grizzly, Metolius, Gateway, Agency Plains and Antelope bus routes bring students to MUHS to make this familiar scene every morning of the week.
