Everything in today's computerized world has a pattern, even people fall into a regular day-in-day-out routine. When we make time to develop our skills and talents we will find the way of our rotes. Service by definition is optional, though sometimes it requires a special skill. In any case, it calls for dedication. After the 2:40 bell rings, a new world unfolds, bringing in- volvement and enthusiasm to Madonna. The oratory and debating skills acquired by the Forensic Club members is a reflection of their long hours of work. The members of this club have parti- cipated in many tournaments to bring trophies and honor to the school. They also sponsor the Model U.N., which takes place annually at Gannon University. On any Wednesday afternoon you can hear the harmonized do re mi's of Madonna's Glee Club. These girls have discovered that singing can be more fun than watching your favorite soap opera. The girls who have been chosen for the National Honor Society have acquired the four qualities of leadership, character, scholarship and service. With their golden pins goes a dual responsibility to grow themselves and to promote growth of their school. Striving to express the qualities of leadership, character, scholarship and service are the Honor Society members: Seated: Patricia Oliverio, Secretary, joan Cardone, President: Mary Snider, Treasurer. Standing: First row: Kris Mazzei, Mary Carol Napoleon, Linda Higby, Annette Costantino, Cindy Cale. Second raw: Patty Szymaszek, Debbie Nowak, Dorothea Ryan, Teresa Moore, Elizabeth DiChiara.
