I I I I I Gala festivities mark the end of the school year for the iuniors and seniors. Here old friends meet at the. last formal gather- ing before graduation. I You see, ladies, the ability to remember is utterly unique. The object is to associate the idea to be 1 remembered with something familiar. So say L. Connor, P. Ciurczak, G. Critelli, C. The assassination of our president, John Fitzgerald Ken- nedy, will remain the most shocking and profound experi- ence of our senior year. Anxiety, disbelief, and prayerful supplication swept in turn through our hushed halls and classrooms on that November afternoon. For us Mr. Ken- nedy and his courageous wife remain the symbol of all that is finest in young Catholic America. Now The torch is passed to a new generation. . . May his great soul rest in peace.
