Text from Pages 1 - 124 of the 1954 volume:

Out of the shadows THE MAROON’’ sketches the happy memories of a year’s work and play together. It is a panorama of the activities of the students of Madisonville High School. It is the purpose of this book to keep a view of happy days before you long after the shadows of graduation have fallen. Dedication With deep appreciation for their unselfish contributions to our Senior Class, we dedicate the Maroon to Mrs. Mary Magenheimer and Miss Lulu Solomon. Our dedication is a small token to offer for their thoughtfulness and personal interest shown in each and every one of us. We include with our dedication the promise that we shall never forget nor cease to be proud of these two, who have taught us to believe in the future and in ourselves.
