Cfaaa .Mafory To help us through our first year we chose Thelma Kline as our student leader. Joe Wagner, Donna Hill, and Richard Bricker assistedher. Our journey came to an abrupt stop on September 29. This was the freshman initiation. Our first party was a hay ride which started at Jim Schmeltzer's and ended at Joan Trowbridge's where we had a chili supper. Later another hay ride was held at Eugene's. The last event during that year was a party at the school. In the sophomore year we chose Joe as president, Duane as vice-president, Donna as secretary, and Richard as treasurer. Activities during this year were a hay ride at Duane's, a skating party at Osceola, and a party at the school. As jaunty juniors, we were very busy. Leadingus were Joe, presidentg Eugene, vice-presidentg secretary, Betty and treasurer, Richard. On October 28 and Z9 our dramatic talent took wings and presented The Adorable Imp . It was directed by Mrs. Haslanger. Magazines were sold, and Eugene proved himself to be thebest salesman. During Christmas vacation we had a sledding party at Donna Hill's. The final party of the year was held at the school with, the sophomore class. The year of years found us with twenty-eight in our class. Once again Joe reigned and Eugene, Donna, and Ted assisted him. We had a dance at the Hillside in October and a bake sale at Wyatt in November. During Christmas vacation we again went to Donna's for a party. Commencing the final events was the class play, Hobgob1in House, which was presented in April. Then came the junior-senior prom on April 22. Baccalaureate on May 14 was followed by graduation on May 15. Climaxing our high school days was the senior trip to Niagara Falls via. Detroit. We returned home looking forward to an adventurous future. Sponsored by NEGRI FURNITURE COMPANY, Wyatt. 6
