French, Latin, and Spanish evolve under the direction of Mrs. Trescott and Mr. Grafel. Students in these classes are constantly reminded of the fine arts by the lovely paintings which grace our halls. We thank Mr. Heichel for his fine direction in art and yearbook activities. ENGLISH Although many students are taking a foreign lan- guage, there are many of us still trying to master our native tongue, English. To meet the demands of a growing school, the English Department has added two new teachers, a course in remedial reading and a chance to overcome the barriers of poor speech. 8
