We started out with a “ first at high school - A Junior High Homecoming Dance with a queen's court, attendants and their escorts. Another of our ac- tivities in the “spotlight was a Freshman Hop held late in April. Every- one had a swell time this year and wc ended with a class party held at Madison-on-the-Lakc. Moving up the ladder of fame - we are now Sopho- mores. Our class sponsored a Daisy Mae Dance for one of our money making projects and everyone had fun. The year was completed with our class party held at Tuttle Park. Our Junior year was to be our busiest. We were to produce a Junior-Senior Prom. This meant hard work. For our money-making projects we sold sta- tionery, fruit cakes, magazines, wooden plaques and candy and gum in the school cafeteria. In December wc presented our Junior Play, Willies Weekend under the competent direction of Mr. Grafcl. May arrived and with It the Junior-Senior Prom which was held at die Madison Country Club. Wc danced until 12 tojhe music of Phil June's Orchestra, after which wc had a Post-Prom Patty sponsored by the P.T.A. at the Elk’s Club in Painesville. This year wc held our annual picnic at Madlson-on-thc-L3ke. Well - the “show is coming to a close, and as the curtain closes for the last time wc take one last look at our days at Madison High. We shall remember and cherish every wonderful moment. We look for- ward now hoping our years ahead will be as successful as those spent here. In whatever field we choose, we shall remember how much we owe our Alma Mater.
